Thinking About...

...publishing a school magazine? Mrs.Smoke over at plurk.com did some great research and came up with these sites:

http://en.calameo.com/
They are free and look fairly easy. Might be a nice alternative to newsletters.

I am having such fun with the site stumbleupon.com It searches the web for topics I'm interested in and finds things I'd never find on my own. You save what you like for later and skip through those you don't. Can be kind of addictive, though, so be careful.

Still disappointed there isn't a Cici's by me, but someone can benefit from this offer:
On August 8th, CiCi's Pizza will be holding the "Ultimate Pizza Party" from 11AM - 9 PM. If you order their buffet during that time, you will receive a coupon book loaded with $100 in discounts from major businesses.

I have a dog, a rescued golden retriever, Sunny, who is on loan to my dad...okay it's really HIS dog, but I found her. But if I had a cat, this would be a great offer:
Hill's Science Diet is introducing Culinary Creations, a new cat food made with chicken, beef or fish smothered in creamy sauce or delicious gravy. Get a buy one get one free offer

Went to see Star Trek last night. Truthfully, I didn't think I'd like it but I did. It told the story of how the crew came to be...from their childhood to becoming friends. I was pleasantly surprised.
